Regalo Concierge Service Limited officially launched in September 2004 after over 18 months of research by managing director, Clare Rutherford..

Such was her commitment and belief in the, “concierge” concept Clare resigned from her position as long-haul cabin crew for British Airways plc after 10 years with the company.

In 1992, she spent over two years with British Airways based in reservations and customer service, before taking to the skies for a brief season with Air 2000 LTD at Newcastle International Airport. In 1995, she returned to British Airways as cabin crew based at London Heathrow Airport. Her genuine passion for providing the highest levels of customer service and attention allowed her to be chosen as part of the Royal and V.I.P. special flights team. Travelling gave Clare a privileged opportunity to undertake work experience within concierge services in San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong.

“Without my previous experience I could not possibly understand how busy and pressurised some of my clients can feel! My free time was spent organising, cleaning, shopping and ironing and I often wondered what life would be like if there was someone to help! To be a successful concierge I believe you need to be the type of person who thrives upon a challenge and genuinely enjoys helping people.”
